Three books. One mission: empowering every learner- in the classroom, in the heart, and in the world.
As the year comes to an end, I have been reflecting on a journey that has been deeply meaningful to me; empowering learners through education, stories, and mentorship.
My three books were created with one purpose in mind: to support growth at every age and stage of learning.
“A Practical Roadmap to Organizing and Managing the Special Ed Classroom” offers teachers a structured and practical guide for building inclusive, organized, and effective classrooms.
“The Friendly Learning Academy: The FLA Way” introduces young readers to kindness, inclusion, and positive character through warm engaging storytelling about animals in the Enchanted Jungle.
“ The FLA Green Team to the Rescue” inspires children to care for the environment and their role in protecting our planet. This is the next story in the Enchanted Jungle Series. In this story about jungle animals, there is the FLA Green Team to help Mayor Luc Lion’s Fiery Forest under the guidance of their teachers, Mrs. Beary Bear and Mrs. Foxy Fox.
From classroom structure to character building and environmental responsibility, these books reflect a lifelong commitment to empowering every learner. Since retiring four years ago from active teaching as a SPED teacher and mentor, I’ve continued mentoring and onboarding new educators. It was a joyful moment when I saw four of my former students attend my recent book launch event.
As I look ahead to the new year, my goal is to share these resources with a wider audience like educators, parents, and children who believe in nurturing confident, compassionate, and capable learners. Thank you for being part of this journey.
