KABERI BHATTACHARJEE is a celebrated educator, storyteller and children’s author who brings learning to life through imaginative stories rooted in curiosity, kindness and care for the world. With two decades of experience in education, she has worked extensively with diverse learners inspiring young minds to explore, become thoughtful and responsible global citizens. She has taught at several levels, from middle school to post-secondary, earning multiple accolades including the Excellence Award 2015 from PACE and KRON4 News Teacher of the Year Award in 2016. She is the author of three books, A Practical Roadmap to Organizing and Managing the Special Ed Classroom, The Friendly Learning Academy: The FLA Way and The FLA Green Team to the Rescue. Even after retiring from active teaching, she continues her writing journey while enjoying her gardening, volunteering, traveling, entertaining, and spending time with her loved ones. She continues to guide educators and create resources that strengthen classrooms and inspire children. Her dedication to nurturing relationships within the educational community is reflected in her work.

NANDA PRASAD is a revered art teacher with over three decades of experience at the Montessori school. Holding a BFA from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and an MA in Art History, she is renowned for designing innovative art programs with interdisciplinary connections. Over her illustrious career, Ms. Prasad has skillfully crafted lessons for diverse student groups, emphasizing creativity and interdisciplinary approaches. Beyond teaching, she’s collaborated with educators, championed student art displays, and illustrated the delightful children’s book, A Path for Appu in 2017 The Friendly Learning Academy: The FLA Way in 2023. With a passion for art and education, Ms. Prasad continues to inspire young minds.
