A Practical Roadmap to Organizing and Managing the Special Ed Classroom

This book is designed as a suggested list of Special Education classroom organization, management and teacher preparedness strategies. These strategies of classroom organization and management may also be a valuable tool for the general education teacher with special needs students in the Inclusion Classroom setting. This handbook may also provide additional supplemental materials and strategies in teacher education and training programs.
The aim of this book is to give you, the reader, tips to help streamline your classroom procedures and IEP (Individualized Educational Plan) organization based on our practical experiences and fieldwork.
The suggestions given in this book are practical strategies. They may be useful for teachers in the Full-Inclusion classroom, Non-Public School settings and Push-In/Pull-Out classroom settings. The information included in this handbook does not replace your own School District’s policies on Special Education procedures.
